None of those Royals starters are real people.

Lifelong fan checking in. Pretending I've been watching the Jays all season and not just tomorrow to watch the prospects.

Rookies Foley and Janssen starting tonight. I don't remember that last time we had 2 rookies (catcher and pitcher) start a game.

Tonight game feels like must watch tv compared to the season we've had so far. I finally might watch all 9 innings!

Apparently, never...

Tonight will be the first time the Blue Jays will have a completely fresh battery to start a game in franchise history. However, they have had four previous games that featured the major league debuts of both a pitcher and a catcher, according Baseball-Reference.com’s Play Index function.

Guys, when I get my call up as a mid-rotation hopeful, please make sure I don't agree to a 10-minute Arash Madani-narrated promotional puff-piece.

I hate all interviews so I am not surprised it was bad but I still want to know what happened with the Madini piece.

SRF did well to get out of that bases loaded jam with just the one run allowed.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

That's why I have no qualms with burning some service time on SRF getting in starts this year. Inconsistency has been his hallmark in the minors, and this thing where he can actually throw strikes is fairly new. There'll be an adjustment period.

Oh yeah. If he's a piece, he's a piece. He's not breaking our bank in a few years either way. Better to find out sooner.

I was impressed with SRF's ability to get himself out of trouble tonight. Overall, 7/10 for his debut, IMHO.

Is anyone really stressing over service time for SRF? For Vlad I can understand but can’t do it for every prospect.

LOL. Lemme guess. You cheer for Rogers Communications' team. Because the Jays aren't your team. And you also live in your bank's condo.
