We have little shot. This hot streak has taken our odds of making the playoffs all the way up to something between 3% (Fangraphs) and 10% (538). We weren't as bad as we appeared for the first couple weeks, and we aren't as good as we have appeared for the past couple.

I doubt it would change much, but out of curiosity, do those odds account for Vladdy?

Yeah, the Fangraphs numbers are based on expected player production, which includes Vlad.

Today might be an interesting time to announce his promotion. Buffalo is playing a morning game - it's underway as I type - and he's 1-3. They could announce his promotion after today's game, but in a lot of time for it to sink in today. Tomorrow is an off day for the Jays, so he could come into Toronto with a bit of time to manage his excitement and have fan interest build for a Friday debut.
BTW, Biggio continues to hit, he's 3-3 so far today, and is playing 1B. Just brought in Gurriel and Guerrero with a three run homer.
