Tulo is such a clown. I hope when he comes back to Toronto the fans boo his ass.

Someone will throw at him and he would deserve it

Bautista pimps a home run to win a playoff series, and Tulo pimps a February spring training home run.

Somehow Jose was disrespecting the game while Tulo was probably just showing fire and grit. /baseball logic.

I was excited when we first got Tulo. I shouldn't have been. His best days were already behind him, or perhaps only to be found at altitude.

I understand it must have felt good to homer today. He should have kept it on the inside, though. To make such a spectacle is absurd, and only serves to highlight how truly awful he was as a Blue Jay. Ego trumping id. Happens, I guess.

Dude should be nothing but thankful to the organization. Considering the amount of money we paid him and what he gave us in return, he should feel like he owes us still. He shouldn't be throwing shade our way, that's for sure.

Just in case there's any question of the value Tulo provided us during his tenure:

In 238 games as a Blue Jay, over 4 seasons, during which we paid him $80 million, he contributed a .250 batting average, 36 home runs, 122 RBI's and 2 Stolen bases. Oh, and above average defence when he played. Yikes.

And he has the nerve to act pissed. Funny...

To quote Special Agent Utah, "He's not coming back."

Tulo is one of the most overrated players to ever play this game. He's talking junk off a spring training home run. lol. What a joke he is. Good luck in NY Tulo cause you'll need it.

He was a great player, then a hurt and good defensive player and mediocre offensive player for us. Then weirdly angry that the Jays paid him $38 million dollars to play for someone else.

Great player?? surely not in Toronto. Coors Field helped him in Colorado. Injuries hurt him, but for the amount of money and injuries this guy has made over his career he is surely overrated.

I hope someone plunks him in the head when the Yankees come to town. Learn a lesson not to talk junk and show up on your former team. There's a reason the Jays paid you $38 million to play for another team you buffoon! You should be counting your blessings that NY had a roster spot open to take you on.

And no one should throw a baseball at him. That's dumb.

His offense was definitely overrated. His road stats away from Coors Field bear that out. Even still, for a shortstop he was well above average offensively.

His defense was legitimately great.

Assuming 600 PA per season, he's played roughly 9 full seasons and put up roughly 5 WAR a season. That's a heck of a player - tough to call him overrated.

That said, he most certainly appears to be a punk of the highest order.

I hate Tulo, but no—don't hope for that.
