I think this is wrong but lets wait and see.
To make room for Tellez, the Jays would have (to);
1. Go with a 7 Man Pen (early indications were an 8 man pen)
2. A trade, maybe Pillar?
3. An injury to an OF or Smoak?
Likely it is option 1.

Sounds like Rowdy is on the team and will be playing tonight in place of Morales at DH. LF hasnt been confirmed but i assume its McKinney.
Likely solution with respect to the 25 man is Norris isnt ready and wont be available - makes perfect sense because he isnt on the 40 man roster. Rowdy on the team and a 7 man pen to start.

Guys i haven't been this excited about a rebuild and start to a season in a while. Glad to see Tellez and Alford making the team. Thanks for the update phillipmike!

Will be interesting to see the attendance today. Excited for our young guys. Detroit isn't very good at least it'll be a competitive series.

So why did they tell Alford to fly into Toronto this morning and he tweeted and instagram posted that he's excited to experience his first Opening Day? He's just here as a spectator and drive down to Buffalo after?

So does that mean they were possibly close on a Pillar trade but fell through?

Definitely a trade that fell apart... Perhaps the Oakland deal had move moving pieces, then there was that Giants rumour from a couple days ago.

Jonah kerri mentions out of the park baseball sims, we have less than %1 chance of winning but that's with Grichuk winning MVP and Sanchez throwing 236 innings.

That OOTP game is so addicting! Anything is possible. Let's see how this season plays out.
