Why are Hanson and Brito on this team? It seems like a no-brainer to me to play Urena and Alford over them. Urena has had a decent start and Alford has been a prospect for so long that we may as well put him out there and see if he can figure it out. Drury may be the worst of the lot, but at least Vladdy is not too far off.

I don't get Hanson either, but we really need to temper expectations of Alford. His K rate in AAA over the past season and change is terrifying; the odds that he'd be competent at the major league level are low. Unless he demonstrates that he can hit at that level, he isn't a major league prospect, and he shouldn't be called up until he can tick that box.

The funny thing? This team could easily be a 0.500 team. Easily

Our favorite Blue Jay Socrates Brito gets the call today. Will he get his first hit as a Jay today??

I'm just looking forward to that glorious day where Brito, Hanson, and Drury are all in the lineup. Bonus points if they occupy the top 3 spots in the order.

How long before this Drury experiment is over? Brutal man.

Stroman is off today. Just doesn't look like himself. Doesn't help if your defense sucks either.

I really hope Tellez doesn't turn into a 30% K guy. He was always pretty patient in the minors. Maybe it's a systemic issue with the Jays...

Too bad about Gurriel. His bat was coming around. Send him to AAA to work on his defense and throwing.

That 4th inning was a waste. 2 man on with nobody out. Nothing to show for it.

Only the third immaculate inning in Jays history, first since Steve Delabar in 2013.

Who had Freddy Galvis with 5 homers by mid April in the pool? LOL.

If only we had another lefty we could try instead of Mayza.

Why don't we bring Bergen in... oh wait...
