If the Twins can't find everyday at-bats for Astudillo, the league needs to introduce the Rule 64 draft, where Astudillo is free to any team that promises to i) get him 600+ PAs a year, and ii) let him play random defensive positions with some frequency.

i was a huge fan just seeing you talk about him , then the stat line k:bb,then the slash line, then watching him play every position except RF and what ss?

Just waiting for that shortstop or RF game. Yeah he pitched already this year, unless im reading baseball reference wrong.

And how about that play he made at third to get Galvis out!

0.92 era to 3.46 fip for shoemaker before this game, has pitched well but been a little bit lucky.

His game is definitely "hope the home run is of the solo variety". From Gameday, doesn't seem like he has his command at the moment.
I just saw the highlight of the Astudillo play. That is one athletic tub of gravy.

These Jays are like watching baseballs version of Groundhog Day. They are finding new and unique ways to lose with each passing game. Not sure I would wanna bring Vlad into this bleep show. He would just be learning how to lose.

Who would be at fault? Drury, teoscar or the first base coach.
I’m thinking the first base coach would be in charge of keeping track of balls and strikes. Drury should’ve known the count.

Teoscar, he should know the count before walking towards 2nd base and at all times.

Hernandez is a moron. Dumb mistake. Lack of awareness.
We are getting swept this series. We can't manufacture any runs. Cant score any runs you aren't winning any games.
