A hit and a walk from Brito in the last 2 days. The man is scalding hot at the plate!
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Kendrys is probably thinking that since we're paying most of his salary, he may as well serve up some meatballs so we can pad our stats.

He has the upside of above average player if he can improve his defence.

He seems like he might end up with an Alex Rios like career.

Damn...this team is looking pretty good lately. Hopefully Shoemaker makes his next start and if Vlad comes in and starts tearing it up we might stay within striking distance of a WC...at least until June.

Sanchez likely getting taken out, looking at his hand between pitches.

Going to be a sad day when Smoak gets traded. What a monster of a HR that was.

Sweep the series... 3.5 games out. We're coming for first! :

Shoemaker out for year with a torn ACL.

Brutal. What a fluke injury.

Gaviglio and Pannone are decent short term options. I'd probably give the ball to Pannone and see what he can do.

Fluke or not, this is a good reason why pitchers need to stay the hell out of rundown plays...

I think we baby pitchers enough as it is. These are professional athletes. They should be capable of abrupt acceleration/deceleration without splintering into a million pieces. What's next - do we tell them not to field bunts anymore, too?

If you don't practice something you are more likely to screw it up or get injured... while I agree with you, I'm sure this is the issue

He's always getting injured, its like the Devon Travis situation. At some point you need to cut ties with the player and move on
