Outer third, too. Helps when you can wait back a little and still hit it 410 feet to straightaway.

Less than a week ago questions were being asked about whether we had to send him back down; now his OBP's suddenly up to .321, his K rate is a very manageable 21.4%, and it's just a matter of waiting for him to get the launch angle adjusted upward.

I don’t understand, after two strikes with the curveball to Williamson. Instead of keeping throwing the curve why not try fastball? The end result is a walk.

Has been a problem this year. Finishing hitters off with 2 strikes. Last year or even the last 4-5 years we called the high fastball 0-2, or 1-2 quite a bit, particularly with Martin and when Estrada and Happ were pitching, followed by something low and outside or whatever but it was a good setup pitch. Now it's more in and out with offspeed pitches.

Not sure what my thoughts are on Mckinney but no point going anywhere on that play.

Well we found out our best hitter last night, and it turns out it's Thornton. This Vlad Jr. kid is somewhere down the board after the legend that is Eric Sogard.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
