HOE-LEE!
Black Watch and Hamyltowne, my former usernames, are tartan patterns. Nothing to do with any race or any city.

I used white-out or handful of chalk.

I used tape. That was partially to improve the visibility of signs, and mostly because it reduced the number of events where I ended up bloodying my fingers for no real reason. Arguably I should tape my fingers at all times.
Also, Rowdy Tellez would've made the ideal Samwell Tarly stunt double.
**** your asterisk.

Sogard falling back to earth.
I like Rowdy's homers as much as the next guy, but his K rate is downright alarming. I'd sacrifice some power for lower Ks/more OBP.
Good to see Jansen and Guerrero swinging it recently.

Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Rowdy reminds me of an older version of David Ortiz, same swing and posture

Sogard's reversion has hit hard: he's now 5 for his last 42, with only 1 XBH. Sadly, he may not be our franchise player.

There was a time when I thought they would use his strong start to delay Bo Bichette''s ascension - that was prior to Bo's injury. According to reports, Bo ought to be back in the BUF lineup shortly, so this is a timely regression. The sea shall part...

Mckinney and Urena down.
Happ deal not looking hot right now, although Drury is heating up.

Interesting move. Urena is essentially a yo-yo. Statistically it looks like Biggio has started to even out his k/bb rate compared to New Hampshire. Gurriel has been getting reps in left, i think.

Urena just doesn't do enough well to be a significant prospect, unfortunately. He strikes out too much, he walks too little, and he isn't a plus defender.
Biggio should be worth a watch. He's really polarizing with prospect watchers...I've seen suggestions that he could be an average 2B, and suggestions that he simply doesn't have the range to play the position at all, suggestions that he is good value for the power he has demonstrated against some that he lacks the batspeed to be an above-average hitter at the major league level.
