Cy Bundy chased from the game. As if Gurriel gets an injury while on a hot streak again.

Gaviglio's actually pretty impressive beyond the category of "number of balls furiously shunted into the next province".

I cringe everytime I see Sanchez pitch now. Send him to the bullpen, if he doesn't like it, send him packing.

A part of me thinks he is not trying and he doesn't want to be here.

It's not really anything effort related, has been trying to throw strikes for years and his sinker is moving sideways rather than down. They thought they fixed something between starts but obviously it didn't work out.

Yeah, I mean, it would be absolutely insane for Sanchez to be "not trying". His career's on the line. If we can't trade him, and he doesn't produce in the 'pen, there's a very good chance that he gets non-tendered in the offseason, and I doubt teams will be lining up to give him a guaranteed major league deal.

What happens on a Bichette callup if teams are not interested in Galvis? He's 23rd in fwar among shorstops, and 21st in wrc+.

Bo might not be certain to get a call-up this season in any instance. He'd make a logical pickup for the Brewers, though...Orlando Arcia is baaaaaad, and they could really use a couple low-cost offensive upgrades. Sogard wouldn't be an illogical pickup for them as well, for that matter.

Don’t forget people rave about his leadership. Can never hurt to have a veteran back up with experience and great leadership ability.

There was something like 12-14 teams that showed interest in him last off-season.

Intangeables, i get it, it's little things like that which fwar or wRC+ can't detect. If he's not moved he can teach Bichette anything for the final couple months but could absolutely be a backup player on a playoff team.

I guess was thinking Bichette has reached similar amount of at bats as Guerrero and Biggio in Buffalo am assuming a callup based mostly on that. Rosters no longer expand in September.
