Zululeta was one of our gets from the shockingly lucrative Kendrys/Dwight Smith Jr trades, alongside a couple Dutch kiddos. It was a really neat risk/reward trick: not only was he a Cuban defector, we spent seven figures knowing he'd need TJ. If we get a legit back-end relief option out of that (and it's still hard to know what we have there: between TJ/COVID he hasn't seen any real game action for us), it's a major win.

In a 15-game sample size, numbers show Teoscar Hernandez has struggled when he's been the designated hitter. The Blue Jays outfielder admits that he doesn't like the DH role, but says he'll figure it out and work to produce if he's occasionally in that role this season.

Kay's sitting 95 and touched 97 per Gameday. Could be adrenaline, but bears watching.

Also, like many of the Large Adult Sons, Kay looks to be a little less large.

You really notice how much more svelte Vlad is when he has his hands above his head in his stance. Lower body is still dummy thicc but he definitely lost a lot of weight.
