Great opportunity to take two here from the Washington Expos.

I don't see us winning game 1. A split is more likely. Hopefully we get to see Springer's debut in this series.

are we doing the whole bullpen pitches the entire game and it will be a 9 inning chess match?

Springer's quad isn't 100% so he's out again. Maybe another month of rest will do the trick.

lol. Watch Robbers pull back from FA spending next offseason on account of Springer playing 20 games this year...

I think that depends on if we make the playoffs regardless & if they can sell out the ball park if crowds are allowed at that time.

If we win the 1st play off series & extend the 2nd playoff series. It may all be worth it in the end.

Even as a Jays fan that second strike was annoying.

Seriously, how much time does he need? I just hope they're not masking a more serious injury.

i played competitive baseball throughout my teens. it is not that hard to make an accurate throw to 1B after fielding a routine grounder. clean it up for **** sakes.

Not gonna lie, when I played baseball as a kid, throwing accuracy was my biggest struggle. I was more likely to take out someone in the dugout from the left side of the infield than accurately make a throw to first.

At this point I'm hoping Trea Turner has a four home run game.

They'll take a page out of Masai's book and say they are 'evaluating.'

Why did we just take out Thornton? Only Trea has got him.

You're saying that their approach will ultimately result in us having the asset base to acquire one of the best players in the sport, leading to a title?

Two is all they're getting here though folks, because Cy Milone's on.

Except for that one. Three is all they'll get, unless they get more.
