I'm still not sure why the balls were nerfed this season. I thought Manfred wanted to increase offense and home runs.

Nerfing power without doing anything about pitching dominance was certainly a choice. Teams still have a strong incentive to sell out for power, they just fail more often.

Has Arash Madani ever actually seen a post game interview before? Springer and Jansen have a lot of patience.

All of a sudden we're on an 87 win pace, which was our preseason projection, and we have the third-best run differential in the AL.

We can probably pickup Price and Tulo pretty cheap this time.

What’s our OBP if you exclude Vladdy?

Prior to today, the not-Vlads had an OBP of .285. That's suboptimal!

The Tigers had an OBP of .260 entering today, and it'll go down after only 3 of 30 hitters reached. I doubt it holds, but I suspect that has to be an all-time low mark.

That’s certainly a new way of saying a player is injured. I wonder who came up with that one.

Well we're only 25 games in so whoever it is has a pretty thin rolodex of injury "explanations".

Cramps maybe? Might explain why he grabbed toward his thigh running to first.

He obviously wants to play and probably pushed it a little bit. He's had a couple stumbles outta the box too and looked a little tight running up the line there today. Day to day with an eye on a week. The rest of the offence is heating up anyways.

I don't think it's premature to declare that we might never lose again.

I get leg fatigue too, but it usually happens after 5 straight hours of pick up basketball, not 3 Plate appearances and sitting on the bench the rest of the time.
