i remember laughing at the orioles back in 2016 (?) with how cheesy it was they trotted all the players and staff from the outfield during their home opener ceremony and now look at us. god what a horrible day so far.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

So basically .650 baseball needed?

A nice 10 game win streak reminiscent of the run we went on in 2015 would be nice.

A nice long streak for the first third of august is absolutely needed. Let's get it started!

Don’t tell me Espinal also doesn’t know how to play 3rd base… What was that!

Catcher runs down the line, you cover home. Every time all the time.

batting wise. fielding... leads the league in errors lol.

Why not? What is your explanation for why he’s not a SS. He has both the range and arm strength to play the position. He just struggles with inconsistency, which can be cleaned up.

Bo has the worst fielding pct in qualified AL short stops. At a certain point when a team is trying to win you give up and go get an elite defender to play the most important position on the diamond.

Mayza has quietly put together a very good season. Apart from that brief meltdown earlier in the year, he's been dynamite.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Where is Romano’s velocity? He’s been shaky lately.

Whatever else happened on that play, Jordan Romano did certainly not get a “good break” like Tabby reflexively says…

Wouldn't it be the pitcher who should have headed to home to field? Especialy as the runner was coming from second?

Jose Iglesias of all people has a worse UZR/150 and DRS than Bo. Maybe the Angels should move him? Fernando Tatis is the worst defensive SS in baseball, maybe he should be moved? Xander Bogaerts has the worst DRS among any SS in baseball, maybe he should be moved? Andrelton Simmons has a UZR/150 and RngR not much better than Bo, maybe he should be moved? Gleyber Torres has a DRS six runs worse than Bo, maybe he should be moved? Dansby Swanson has a DRS and RngR worse than Bo, and a UZR/150 only a little bit better, perhaps he should be moved?. The idea that Bo can’t play SS is nonsense.
