let's all pretend we are arash madani:

Statement series. Blue Jays vs. Red Sox. It is August. It is 2021. There's still a pandemic.

Blue Jays. Red Sox. Wild Card in the balance.

Blue Jays. Red Sox. George Springer. **** Hernandez. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.. Bobby Dalbec Jr.. In August. Of 2021.

Buckle up folks. Fans in the stands. Roof open. Or it could be closed. Either way, we have a game today. A statement series.

It irks me to no end that Tampa is yet again in first place.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

We have a double header tomorrow and haven’t had any days off. So it makes sense.

Buck just said he caught JR Richard in an Allstar game. Except Buck was never an all star and played in the opposite league. Hmmm

Could have been in the minors, or in college, or on one of those all star circuits the top players play in(like the Cape Cod League, as an example).

Or maybe he’s just drunk.

Basing this on nothing other than my drunk intuition and an over reaction to this inning but I think the Jays starting pitchers prefer to throw to McGuire than Kirk.

Kirk caught Manoah last week. 7 innings. 2 hits. 0 runs.

Man Eovaldo was just mowing us down and then, suddenly, everything is hit hard.

They definitely should have got him out sooner, the 1st batters at the bottom of the order hit the ball hard and it wasn’t getting easier from there.
