getting to the yankees pen early is ideal, yes.

That’s the only thing that frustrated me in the 1st inning- Teoscar deciding to swing at the worst pitch in the at bat, pitch #25, to bail Taillon out of that inning. Depleting their bullpen in game 1 of a 4 game series should always be in the back of a hitter’s mind..

Kevin Smith was really crushing in triple A Buffalo, and he has not done a damn thing in the show.

We should give him more than 30 ABs before rushing to judgment. That said, I was concerned about what his contact and K rate would look like in the majors, and he's done nothing to assuage my concerns as yet. Still, there is lots to like about his Buffalo line this year - let's see how he looks 150-200 plate appearances from now.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Just have the box score open, so wondering why Ryu is out of the game? He's only at 80 pitches?

Forever it’s been Jameson Tie-on.
Now we have Buck reeducating us with Tie-yown??? Pretty lame IMO.

What kind of moron pulls Ryu in this game with our trash bullpen?

So, the Blue Jays dip into their bullpen first? Up 3-0? With a $20 million “ace” throwing 80 pitches? And they have Jamed Taillon outlasting Ryu throwing 94 pitches? I couldn’t care less how Richards does, it’s stupid management.

Just make Kirk the full-time DH if Springer is going to limp around like this for the next month. The Jays' handling of him all season has been very strange.

If Kirk wanted to play consistently, he should have been left-handed. Or Danny Jansen, apparently.

**** your asterisk.

Lamb PH'ing here over Kirk simply because he's a LHB is pretty hilarious stuff.

Why is Cimber in a 8-0 game in a week we're playing 8 games?
