I cannot remember Polo ever having a cold streak...so I'd say the latter

Baz has some of the best stuff in baseball. Not sure that’s a fair assumption.

Not looking good tonight but hope we can grab a game in this series. That will at least keep us right in the race. Can’t afford the dreaded Trop sweep in this awful place.

He does have some impressive stuff.

Just used to seeing this team hit and score 8+ runs per for the month of September.

The Pirates got fleeced in that trade. Brutal.

Didn't Archer sign with Tampa this year? If so, even more brutal.

He will be one of the best pitchers in baseball next season, so I’d probably get used to this team not hitting him very well. Them and everyone else.

I remember when we thought Pearson was who Shane Baz is.

Every time Nate Pearson is warming up or is going to pitch, they always talk highly of him like he's the next starter or whatever but I've never seen anything special and whenever he does get the chance to pitch. He always gives up hits and runs.

They did that Saturday as well. And no, it doesn’t make any sense. It actually doesn’t make any real sense to pinch run for Kirk in that spot at all because he may come back around to hit again and you are down 3 runs.
