But seriously, 14.3 K/9 and 0.9 BB/9 over 71 IP - that's a hell of a season right there.

I think he has to resign now. If he signs for 100 mil he will have a long leash with his once in a lifetime season.

If he signs elsewhere (LA/BOS) for full price and cant replicate.....yeesh. It happened to price already, dickey here and so many more.

From his interview, sounds like he's gone. At his age, he's got to go for the biggest contract, don't blame him one bit.

On a side note, Manoah getting so little attention for rookie of the year was a total outrage.

Weary about players who have one career season just before free agency. Seems to never work out afterwards. A player's focus is never as intense as when they are playing for a huge contract. There has to be a history of success or it's just a huge risk for any team.
