hoooooooooly ****, it's happening

ramirez was probably ++ on whatever we're giving up. chapman offensively is whiffing quite often but it's that glove i'm hyped about.

Who keeps telling Carlos Baerga everything?
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Former GM on Fan590:
- best defensive 3B in league
- will hit .250 avg in this line up and at skydome
- will hit 30-35 jacks

graded it an A

I like the deal. Putting Vlady at third for 30 games was not ideal

Much less worried about Bichette at SS with a guy like that at 3rd for the next 2 years. Just a ridiculous defender. The Jays are easily the best team in baseball in 2022.

I'm excited too but how can a grade be given without knowing the return?

they run their organization on pure value. Chapman is 28 so in his prime, only has 2 years left on his deal, they selling high on him

plus they r rebuilding now

similar to donaldson deal

This was an intelligent get. While everyone was all in on Schwarber and Freeman (rightfully so), Jays went the other way and went more defense which will help everyone on the field just by inserting Chapman alone. Pitchers, Vlady, Bo, etc ... then his bat will have higher value in Skydom and surrounding by our core. Shatkins did very well here
