Vlad didn't wait long to get going. You're rarely going to get an inside fastball by Vlad.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Well, that's a heck of a first impression, Orelvis.

I remember he hit a similar HR vs the Phillies during spring training last year, too. He’s got some major power for such a young guy.

This is my first time seeing him - lots to like, and he's only 20!

MArtinez not going anywhere. CLE wants him, we aint giving him up else we would already have Ramirez.
Wonder if he will be future 2nd basemen we desperately need.

Pure liner, too. Along with bad luck, what impacted his numbers in A+ was a decline in the number of lasers he was hitting...he was getting under the ball a bit too much in Vancouver. With his batspeed, he doesn't need to hit them 100 feet in the air.

He's a fairly big dude, so most likely going to be a 3B at the major league level. Which is fine, as by the time he'll be ready for the bigs, Chapman will be a FA.

I feel better knowing I’m not the only one watching a meaningless spring training game.
