Feels like we don't deserve to win this game at all, but baseball gods keep giving us a chance.

And as I feared from his Friday night appearance, Trent Thornton is warming up to enter the tie game in the 9th. Montoyo never learns.

Teoscar Hernandez cannot return soon enough. I wonder what management is thinking when they see Grichuk hitting .405 right now, with another 3 hit performance. Cannot run Tapia out there everyday. Even a blind nut finds a squirrel from time to time, but need Hernandez returning back sooner than later now with Bo struggling also.

Choosing Thornton over Romano in a tie game in the 9th is inexcusably bad managing. Again.

Trent Thornton, tie game in the ninth, against the 4-5-6 hitters. This ought to be interesting.

Unfortunately, Chuckles is stupid, and doesn’t believe in using your closer in a tied game.

Honestly, one of the dumbest managerial theories in baseball.

Thornton just throwing hanging curve balls over the middle of the plate to one of the best hitters in the league with two strikes. Which, yeah, is what he does.

Putting in Thornton means Montoyo is happy just to win the series. No way to justify this move.

Just getting super lucky to survive there. We have no business winning this game the way we've played and now the way we've managed.

You really do get the sense from watching Montoyo that he has no killer instinct. He probably thinks it would be rude for his team to win all the time.

Gutsy to be throwing that pitch 3-2 there.
