Glad we have the solid pitching. Our offense sucks right now. The umpires were awful this series.

Whoever made the schedule for 2022 must be a Yankees fan. Brutal schedule to start the season. :banghead:

Yankees reddit is no fun right now. I'll be praying for Jays to sweep the Yankees so I can enjoy their salty tears.

I wish we’d option Zimmer instead of Katoh. Atleast Katoh can take the walk, steal and play 1B. Zimmer is an automatic SO or out.

Zimmer has no options and they brought him in for defense only in CF because Tapia certainly can't do it (although Montoyo is playing Zimmer too much right now with Springer healthy for reasons that are unclear). It's going to take a hell of a lot for the Jays to part with him, I figure.

Stripling 5 innings then Trent Throton gives up 4 runs in the 6th. We win 5-4 on a walk off grandslam by Ramiel Tapia. (Tyler Heineman homerun for the other run)

They've played like half their games this season against the Orioles and now they think they're contenders.

They are contenders. I don’t envision them winning the World Series, but they have a chance.

It's been a long time since I had any hope for Trent Thornton. I just don't get the fascination.
