At what point do they run out of cop-outs like "they've faced some really tough pitching and defence" bs

the more they lose the more they hastily get rid of the Montoyo... right?? .

So much for everyone who said that the Jays should win 3 out of 4 in Cleveland, since they are a below .500 team. The fact of the matter is this team's Bullpen has been given no margin for error the last few weeks, with how poorly the bats are hitting right now. If you are life and death to score 2-3 runs a game, you will find yourself on the losing end of many games, even against the not so great teams. Very disappointing series in Cleveland.

The one benefit to a crushing season of disappointment would be I’d never have to watch him manage a game again. Can’t imagine it would ever be done mid-season though.

Can a healthy Biggio be a worse option in the outfield than Tapia? Defensively he's probably worse, but you've got to think he'd be much better offensively. Tapia is a .500 OPS hitter on the season and batting leadoff every now and again - truly baffling.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

That's why I said earlier, the bats gotta wake up. Our bullpen isn't good enough to keep getting us out of close games. I hate Montoyo and Tapia. They should both be sent packing on the same plane out of town.

offering myself up for sacrifice for making this reprehensible excuse of a series thread, even though such a suggestion may very well insult the gods. mods, do with me as you wish. to everyone else, i'm sorry.

I wonder if there's a 'sweet spot' of us doing badly enough to get rid of Montoyo mid-season, but still have time to get back into things and make the post-season.

.500 by mid season.
