Either you people think that my terrible game threads were responsible for the winning streak, or you're just too lazy to make your own. If it's the former and we win, you're obviously correct and I'm a goddamned miracle worker. If it's the latter and we don't, you have brought shame upon several generations of your family.

That's in contention for the worst play I've ever seen on an a ball hit to the outfield.

Remember when the Jays traded their backup CF on a team with George Springer for an outfielder who can't play CF or hit whatsoever?

if you were still allowed to block the plate, he's out by a good half step.

Devlin is good at baseball PBP. Would be nice if Rogers actually sent these guys to the games so that Devlin could actually know what the hell is going on though. It's only a major league baseball broadcast.

Let's also get off the bump and give Ben Wagner a partner and travel to away games.

Edit: darn I was forgetting Matt's calling this game from the studio too!! :banghead:

Tapia now playing CF and leading off, presumably for the next month? Playoffs may be out of the question by the time Springer comes back.

50% chance it's Springer's ego that's actually hurt. Probably 1 day off to help save face.

If it's real, he kinda did it to himself. Such a bad play on that ball. Running, hesitating, running, hesitating, jumping, like wth? All he had to do was cruise over and let it fall in the basket beside his left ear.

Still, the team is hooped without him. He's been our MVP.

Springer is made of glass, always has been. Virtually the same play occurred last season to him in Seattle. Would not be surprised if we didn't see him until some time in June given his track record with injuries.

Springer told these guys to swing first pitch cause usually they’re hittable, I don’t blame him with how many fast balls down the middle we’ve been missing.

Only a left ankle sprain …. Thank god

I wonder when Atkins will start shaking things up... Maybe start with Guillermo Martinez, then 1 month later montoyo if nothing changes. This team is too talented to go another year without october baseball.

Tapia time with 2 runners on and nobody out. Trying to imagine the worst that could happen.
