WTF did Charlie use Romano in a non-save situation?

Teoscar? Sure, but I recall Danny struggling for the majority of last season.

second half of the 2021 season in about 23 games.

OPS 1.165
BA .323
7 HRs
19 RBIS

i would say he was coming around. and he had a hot start in 3 games (lol) before he got injured.

I much rather the Toronto Blue Jays win the Tampa team over the Leafs!

Danny struggled the first part but was amazing after that and on average was really good both with the bat and defensively. He's a really good player and despite Kirk the Jays have definitely missed him. The logjam at catcher is a bit of an issue but the Jays need all the hitters they can get right now and Jansen and Teoscar are both rather important in that respect.

Why concentrate on his lack of productivity last season?

If Danny is a hot hitter to start the season, use him and see where it goes. For a team struggling offensively, the last thing needed is to downplay current offensive streaks because the hitter sucked last season.

I really like what Kirk has provided in the absence of Janssen

I mean yes we've had some moments but overall he has been solid.

Silver lining (even though I shouldn't care as a fan) - atleast Bo/Vlad's contract demands have taken a hit.

Another loss due to bad defense. No idea what Chapman is thinking there.

Defense let us down, but offense disappearing cost the game.

Yes, but it wouldn't have mattered with this offence.

I thought the Chapman trade was pretty good, but man, so far his offence is even worse so far than last season when was supposedly injured and played half his games in OAK. And Jordan Groshans continues to play mainly 3B in BUF and impress.

Not if they can't score a single run, no. Chapman was still horrific defensively though, which was alarming.

Hey, haven't seen you post about how Tapia is a good player in awhile.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
