Was obvious watching that team in person yesterday. They've tuned him out. They should promote Schneider. That's the dude.

I do find the timing a little strange.

the amount of closed-door, players-only meetings this cohort has apparently had this season already is telling. and then for vlad to show him up publicly yesterday....yikes. great human being and wish him nothing but good things in the future, and i felt like he did improve this year, but ultimately he's a bench coach at best.

The timing is interesting considering they were literally at one their coaches daughter funeral literally two days ago, my guess it was decided in the 1-9 road trip, but couldn't do it literally on their off day.

To Charlie, you're a great guy. On that, I'm a little sad to see you suffer this fate.

But you were the wrong man for the job. This team needs a harder edge. Get rid of the jack, tell the group at the end of the dugout to quit horsing around. And on the field, please be a bit more creative, try a bit of hit-nd-run, do anything to move runners along. Charlie was just not creative or bold.

Charlie did seem like a cool dude but I couldn't stand his usage of our players and pen to a lesser extent. No where for the front office to hide they used their scapegoat card. On them to improve the team.

I'm frankly shocked. Shapiro and co are very calculated people in their decisions and this sacking appears to be - frankly - desperate.

What a mess of a season.

Can we hire Nick Nurse so our best players play everyday. Would love Tapia to get the Malchi Flynn/Yuta treatment lol
