I have them at around 202m and they could just as easily be planning to cut a little via trade vs. adding a little (Jansen and Biggio would be some shrewd cost cutting moves). Either way I am pleased as I was wrong in speculating that the budget would be capped in the 180 range.


I don't think the idea is to trade Jansen for someone cheaper.
Is anybody here a marine biologist?

In a vaccum, who’s a better value:

Bassit at 3 and 63 or stripling at 2 and 24.

Kinda leaning towards chicken strip

Stripling for sure, if he can reproduce what he did last year. and not the Stripling we knew from 2 years ago.

Not particularly excited about this deal. Some pretty concerning red flags. But he should still be able to provide some relatively solid innings.
