Turns out Matt Chapman isn't the next coming of Barry Bonds after all.

Read on Twitter

Varsho makes the right read here, knowing/expecting that Springer should have easily scored on this play. Almost resulted in him being caught up.

Kiermaier is hitting .394/.487/.636 in May. Can someone explain how he isn't in the lineup today?

He’s injury prone and they’re giving him a day off?

I haven’t checked how many games he’s played this month though

Espinal getting that bunt down was the biggest surprise of this game so far.

I'd probably start guys hitting .400 in a month while they're hot myself. We didn't even play games on Monday and Thursday this week.

Heck. Perfect bunt there, and lucky result getting to first. Love it

Fair I was just guessing. Haven’t really been following closely this year.

Springer may need to move down the order at some point.

We're going to start having a conversation about Springer and what exactly he is soon. He's been dreadful this season.

Is Nick Nurse now consulting Schneider on what calls to challenge?

Springer has been an absolute disaster this year. No way can he continue leading off with Bo and Vlad hitting as well as they are.

He had some rough luck with his expected numbers being a lot lower than his actual numbers. But eventually you gotta make a change if he doesn't figure it out. He has one of the lowest WRC+ in the league.
