As a Jays fan, I would take that idiotic mistake by Showalter. Like I mentioned a few posts above, it made no sense to pitch to Guerrero with the base open and with Biggio on deck. Showalter is being ripped on Twitter rightfully so by angry Mets fans and even by writers, who are questioning him on his idiotic mistake.

Also nice to see Nate Pearson looking fantastic once again. He has looked excellent in his last 5 appearances, allowing Zero runs in 6 Innings. He has provided this team with another high leverage guy which was sorely needed. Hoping he can stay healthy for the rest of the year.

Vladdy has a much high stature the Biggio, but (the correct) perception is Biggio is hitting the best he has in maybe 1.5 years, and Vladdy is in the worst stretch of his career.

I think a lot of managers would pitch to Vladdy at this point > even with the game he was having today with all those wild swings

You think a lot of managers would pitch to Guerrero over Biggio right now? Biggio is still hitting .179, even if he has some hits over the last 7-10 days or so. Biggio has been terrible overall all year. The most ridiculous thing I have ever read on this forum (lol).

I'm not sure this team will ever lose again.

Yesterday was the first time all season that the Jays have used the exact same lineup on consecutive days. This was the same lineup they used to score 20 vs Tampa. This was the same lineup that beat Verlander.3 wins in a row with this lineup.Players like it when the same lineup wins.It makes them feel like not one person has to carry the team all the time.Stop changing this lineup, even if we lose. The players look more comfortable at the plate :D

Schowalter with the walk that says, shouldn't have started him with 4 days rest.

Horrific umpiring. He should have two walks today.

Kikuchi has been hanging sliders for 3 innings now. Somebody finally made him pay. Time to get him out of there before the entire lead is gone.

I'll take Pearson over Alonso crushing one of those hanging sliders myself.

The Jays should pay that couple from Saskatoon to follow them around. The record demands it.

Meh. Kikuchi is warm and firing just as hard as Nate. Only fastballs!

Plus, even if I accept what you say, then neither does Alonso! Lol
