It finally happened surprised it wasn't a phantom IL stint but hopefully Manoah can figure is **** out closer to home in Florida

smart move, despite it being several starts too late. would have gotten rocked in the international league too, so getting rocked in the shadows by 18 year olds instead with little media attention is brilliant. anthony recker is somewhere enjoying a nice crispy one this afternoon.

All the way to rookie ball? That is a message

I think that's more about being able to work in the pitching lab in Dunedin. They had to option him somewhere, as in an actual team, but the first thing they will likely do is some intense analysis with the pretty sophisticated equipment they have at the complex;

Are there any power hitters who will be on the trade market? This team possibly won't have a 30 hr hitter this year

Is there an advanced stat that removes strike 3 called, on pitches that were actually a ball, if robo-umps were used?

I feel like these PAs and BAs should be considered incomplete. As if you were at-bat but the third out was made with a runners mishaps.

Also for pitchers, those that would be considered strikeouts, based on a bad call.

It's probably because they are the WS champs and arguably the best team in baseball regularly.

Varsho has enough power for all of them.

Varsho with 11 HR's now. Bo with 12. Vlad meanwhile still sitting at 9. Which should be 8 as that grand slam off a position player shouldnt count. Im not sure i want to pay Vlad 500 mil over 10 years for that kind of production. I could maybe forgive the low power numbers if he was hitting in the 320-330 range, but hes well below 300 as well. On pace for 25-28 HRs. Thats really not 500mil kind of production.

Where would this team be without Gausman. Too bad we are wasting his best year.

I still can't believe Guerrero Jr. doesn't have a HR at the Rogers Centre.

He starting to look more like olerud and less like Delgado type. It's not a bad thing but if he keeps getting pressure for not hitting homers it could make him worse.

Why are we pulling a dominating starter at only 100 pitches when we have no bullpen?

He's never been a flyball hitting HR guy and always more a line drive guy. Except his line drives are sometimes hit so hard that they get out of the park.

The thing is he hit 48 homers 2 seasons ago... wtf happened to him.... You'd think he'd keep getting better with more experience but he had the one mvp year surrounded by okay years. It's weird and I don't understand why he can't consistently put it all together. The thing is the potential is still always there, but you wonder what is preventing him from consistently being elite.
