A legit playoff team like the Orioles and Rays would have swept the Mariners. Embarrassing that this game was another nail bitter, with the amount of opportunities this team had to extend the lead by at least 2 runs. No bullpen is perfect all the time, but this team's offense all year has left no margin for error for its Starters and Bullpen. Guys like Varsho producing next to nothing in the bottom of the order, and Kirk running like a Turtle to First Base by hitting into Double Plays on a consistent basis. Just atrocious to watch. Hoping the front office does not make the mistake of trading any more prospects to prop up this team.

This team badly needs another bat.

yeah i am pinching myself over servais getting crawford to lay one down and give up 1 of their 3 outs remaining. incredible and especially so considering how wild romano was. big L for the bunt lovers.

The Rays lost two of three to the Mariners as part of a 7-game losing streak. They're 4-14 in July. After their historically-good start, they've played sub-.500 (34-36) ball from May 5th onward.

This was such a painful series to watch. The Jays had what it took to win all three, but they coughed up the first two needlessly.

Really not a fan of Schneider's quick hooks on his starters.
