It's not often that Buck is right, but Varsho needed to be sent there.

How did they have enough to overturn merrifield though. Also why is it so difficult to hit sacrifice flies nowadays.

Then 10-20 years ago? Because it's way harder to make contact in general.

We sure do love hitting into double plays.

And now Romano plunks the lead off hitter smh.

Haven’t seen a more blue jays inning than that one. They get possibly jobbed by the overturn and they get gifted multiple chances to score but can’t.

a HBP and what should have been a 4 pitch walk is not what a team needs in a closer.

This is gonna be an utterly hilarious sweep. Jays should have won all of these games.

Romano looks atrocious. Guessing it's the high intensity environment.

I appreciate the M's for doing a sacrifice with their lead off guy lmao. It's weird to have a guy that will end up having your most at bats be a guy you would throw an out away on lol

That was not where he wanted to leave that 2-2 slider.

Romano was definitely gonna walk Crawford there (or groove a garbage slider right down the middle after falling behind). Bizarre bunt attempt.

Definitely thought this would be a sweep too.

Go figure though. No Garcia or Pearson in high leverage and despite wasted offensive opportunities, the Jays squeak one out.
