History in the making. Can the Blue Jays beat the unbeatable Red Sox for the first time this season? Can Manoah look like a Major League Pitcher? Can the lineup score more than 1-2 runs a game this series?

Stay tuned!

Good start i guess. Whit is the only guy in this entire lineup who seems to know what hes doing

They should just hit it over the green monster every time. Seems simple enough!

Not sure i like Jansen hitting cleanup all of a sudden. His success has seemingly been thanks to never being moved around in the lineup like the rest of the team. Lets see if he continues his great hitting after the move. He was comfortable hitting 7th imo.

If you Google "Future Hall of Famer Davis Schneider", the MiLB thread on this board is the only hit. We are prognosticating gods.

Imagine going to the ballpark to enjoy a game, then leaving the park with potentially 20-50k USD in your pocket because you were lucky enough to randomly catch someone's first ever HR lol.

Same approach..can equal same results for each batter no matter where they are slotted, but comfort matters too.

You might get a signed bat for Schneider's. Dude has been in the minors for six years, his net worth is whatever food item he can barter his cleats for.

Yeah. Exactly. I just made that point to my kid. He’s a very old rookie and no one’s going to care about his first home run. You grab a couple autographed Guerrero baseballs and a bat and call it a win.

Edit: and just to restate the obvious. The Red Sox made a huge improvement by adding seating up there on top of the green monster. Both revenue wise and atmosphere wise. Reminds me of a story of a fan that noticed some empty space in the back row of RFK Stadium in Washington. They were able to squeeze in 7 extra seats. He got 2 Season tickets for life for noticing, and reporting the revenue opportunity.

Because of the unionization of minor leaguers, this is probably the first season (in AAA) where he could even make a real living. I'm always happy for guys like him, because that's a tough road...broadcasters like to tell feel-good stories about how they delivered mail or bagged groceries in the offseason, but the reality was that they had to because being a professional baseball player paid less than minimum wage.
