Final Score Predictions:

Game 1 - 7-5
Game 2 - 3-1
Game 3 - 12-9

Interesting watch/re-watch for anyone remembers the end of the 2011 MLB Season. You think we could see something like this again for a playoff berth, especially with expanded playoffs.
It seems weird that this was pre-playoff expansion.

Prime Minister Mountcastle. Camden Yards. The superteam Orioles vs lottery team Blue Jays.

Need 2 out of 3 to keep pace. Seattle doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. Houston is a very good team as well. This is going down to the wire. Don't count Boston out either. Hoping it's us who ends up with one of the wild card spots.

I guessed 1-3 hits -- at some point Mountcastle has to average what he does vs others.
Setting myself up to be disappointed.

We get 2 out of 3 somehow. (see comment above)

In all likelihood, they’re gonna absolutely destroy us. I’d honestly just take one win to keep the season alive.

Hoping to win 2 out of 3, but being realistic I will be thrilled to win just 1 game in this series. I am also happy that for the remaining 5 weeks of the season- this is the last we see of Baltimore this year.

Kikuchi is pitching so I’m confident today. Can’t believe to be saying that this year

Easy sweep for the O's. Mountcastle gonna go off...again. This time im predicting 9 for 14 with 2 HR's, 3 Doubles and 8 RBI's.

Vlad couldn't have used an extra few days for his injury? would have helped the offense

1 run? There's no way we make this up.

And theres the fundamental difference between these teams. One does nothing but GIDP with runners in scoring position and less than 2 outs, the other find ways to get base hits with runners in scoring position and 2 outs. Vlad goes up there hacking like a brainless moron, while the Orioles hitter takes pitches, works the count and then drives a pitch into the game that he likes. Complete night and day in hitting approaches between these team. No surprise that Baltimore leads the entire league with hitting with RISP.

Would it be crazy to move Vladdy into the lead off spot.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
