Can’t wait for Guerrero to finally get his first hit of the game when it doesn’t matter and they’re down 5

The only way we were winning today was if Bassitt threw 150 pitches.

What's the point of getting Cabrera up at this point?

Pearson has been in hot water long enough this inning, that Cabrera should have at least been ready for Croneworth.

Yeah, he needed to go 8 minimum for us to have a realistic chance. Wasn’t even close to good enough to win today with our relief depth.

Your making a very incorrect assumption here.

Team loss today, too many fundamental mistakes giving up cheap runs.

Can someone explain to me why Vogelbach is still on the team when Martinez and Barger are absolutely mashing in Buffalo? What an absolute waste of a roster spot this guy has been. What does he provide other than comedic relief in the dugout?

Springer has been struggling all season, yet Schneider likes to lead him off in every game. We have Clement, who is getting on base and has speed, yet he bats him at the bottom of the lineup.

It does make sense. The true talent of Springer is still >> that of Clement. True talent level predicts future outcomes. You don't set lineups based on a small sample of past outcomes in this season.

Is it? Not even sure that is true anymore. Springer has looked like this for his last 7 months of baseball now. He could very easily just be done as a good MLB player.

They’ve gotta give him another month or two to find it at least due to the money they’ve got sunk on him but it is a distinct possibility that we have other options better than him.

I mean, Orelvis can’t stay in AAA much longer if he’s going to hit a HR every game, I don’t care what his position is

Which posituon should he play at mlb level?

Ootp scouting says he's 3B with limited range but cannon for arm

No real clue but it sounds like he's been bad defensively this year at 2B so I can't imagine he'll ever regularly play 3B in the majors.

Maybe a 2B/LF like Lourdes was/Davis is?
