Swanson coming in to fully blow this game.

Guerrero has legitimately had a manoah level decline from a hitting perspective. 91 down the middle and he swings through it. Send him back to the minors.

Springer can join him too.

Kikuchi at 81 pitches and dominated most of the game. Let's pull him to put in Swanson who's looked shaky ever since coming back. Smart.

Nice play by Turner.

It worked out, but I don't think it was the proper play from a risk perspectve. But it paid off.

They must have pulled Kooch because of that slight injury in his last start.

Yes? No. I can see both sides here - he gave up 3 XBH's last inning which overrides some of the cruising before that. I would have been comfortable leaving him in until he surrendered a runner.

They've outplayed them pretty handily 5v5 despite the 5-1 in game 1. Gonna be a 7 game grind again it looks like.

Springer might be one of the worst players in baseball at this point. Definitely shouldn't be leading off if he has to be in the lineup.

Giving 5 at bats a game to Springer is downright criminal right now. Guy belongs in the 7-9 spots at best.

Swanson and Romano are not inspiring much confidence these days.

You see his numbers from the Astros where he was a Silver Slugger, a World Series MVP, and one of the best players in baseball compared to now and it is night and day.

Never seen a player fall off like Springer has. Just terrible at the plate right now. Even much worse than last year. However, it is still April and hopefully he can turn it around in the coming weeks. However, he should be definitely hitting 7-9 right now and not leading off.

How about Varsho leading off instead of Springer.
Varsho has speed, and power, like every leadoff hitter should have, but it wont happen.
We are a WS contender if our top 3 hit.
