Blue Jays' Springer out due to sickness. If this lineup clicks, they better stick with it no matter how Springer feels.

Turner has fallen off. 3 for his last 21 ABs prior to this game.
Puzzling as to why so many are struggling on this team. Something is rotten with this core. I bet you it's that Guillermo Martínez guy! I can't believe he's still on this team.

Quality starts don’t win games for this sorry team. Pitchers have to throw shutouts for us to win at this point. It’s a joke considering how outstanding the pitching has been for us this year.

Schneider works for me leading off, but Varsho belongs in the bottom third of a good lineup. Unfortunately, we don't currently have a good lineup.

No he’s this team’s most valuable player by a ton this year by WAR
Now if you want to trade Varsho for an actual good player instead of those bums, I’d be open to it

Kikuchi was at 100 pitches. Don't want his arm falling off. Doesn't help that we have injuries and a bullpen that sucks right now.

Actually I think Varsho is a starter on a championship calibre team. The elite defense and pop in the bat plays. The problem is the roster construction on this team is awful, and Varsho is expected to be a middle of the order bat.
