Tricky question because it would be rare for a gm to be fired before the manager ang if it was the manager fired first, do you leave a new lame duck manager in place while waiting for the shoe to drop on the gm?

I voted Atkins though because I believe he’s more responsible for the Jays current predicament than Schneider. Not really sure why Shapiro is on the list. How about Guillermo Martinez instead?

Shapiro is the head of the snake and many believe he makes the final decisions on player personnel. Definitely deserves consideration.

Shapiro, because anything less will continue the same process.

Replace none of the above, with all of the above. That is what I want most.

Shapiro being fired would be ideal. The new president of baseball ops would then bring in his own GM and probably his own manager as well.

More realistically, Atkins is the one most likely to go who will have the biggest impact.

i would fire Atkins and Scheider.

Definitely Shapiro. This is his team, and if Atkins is a problem, then it's a problem caused by Shapiro.

essentially Shapiro = all of the above and Atkins = Atkins + Schneider

Fire all The Three Stooges- Shapiro, Atkins, and Schneider. The Three Stooges are attached at the hip.

Atkins has to be the first to go. The rest can follow in short order.

Atkins. Our farm system and major league roster are both not good. That's on him.

I actually think Schneider is the least of them, the roster is lame, that's on Atkins and Shapiro. I'd like the latter two to go, and then a new GM can move Schneider out for his guy.

Atkins for sure... He was the one who touted he would improve the offense in the offseason during the presser that followed last season's poor offense & wildcard sweep... And everybody knew he didn't do nearly enough to see marked improvement heading into this season.

Atkins, though it would be Schneider as the scape goat.

Shapiro is loved by Rogers and he’s spearheading the Skydome renovations so he’s safe for a long time.

I don’t have enough understanding to know how accurate the ‘Shapiro has been hands off on the team, concentrating on the stadium, the money, etc.’ stuff is. Everyone I used to know in the organization is long gone, and i haven’t even been reading up too much. It sounds like the kind of corporate flak used to tie off damage, but if it’s accurate i guess the stadium stuff has been okay and we can’t complain with regards to penny pinching on the team (at the ML level at least) so it’s possible Shapiro is actually doing okay on his direct reporting issues. That, to me, is the key to knowing where to tie this off. I am open to saying the buck stops with Shapiro morally regardless, but if so I hope we don’t go back to lower spending after he’s gone.

Atkins
For gutting the offense and going for defense first.
For keeping players in the minors too long despite their success and despite the struggles of the major league roster.
For his numerous stop gap solutions which failed and kept those minor league players stuck in AAA.
For whatever role he has in drafting players.
For standing pat and relying on 'internal improvements' to contend.

The play has been obvious since last year, not sure why it keeps taking ownership so long.

Force Shapiro to fire Atkins, promote World Series winning GM James Click to replace him, and leave the decision on John Schneider to Click.
