Brew Jays @ Bluers (June 10-12) - Beer sellers vs cellar dwellers

Brewers are having a great year in a largely terrible division.
Jays are having a terrible year in an always great division.
If we were in the NL Central, we'd be in 2nd place in the division and tied for the 2nd WC Spot.
If the Crew were in the AL East, they'd be in 3rd place in the division, and hanging on to that 3rd WC Spot.
Oh, how the turntables play.
*******

5th run of the season by Kirk (in 121 Plate Appearances)
I know Jansen is playing more, but if Kirk can get from 70 OPS+ level to back to around 100 when he does play (he was at 105 and 127 in 21 and 22) it would be nice.

So many mediocre teams in MLB right now. There are 14 teams within 5 games of .500 right now (for example record between 30-35 and 35-30). That is the most on June 10 in any year since 2016.
That 3rd wildcard team ,might not be that strong. Especially in the NL, which is currently 11 games below ,500 as a whole (due to interleague play)

Berrios has had no command of anything all game. Fortunate it’s only been 2 runs (which is obviously too much for this team as it is).

Went from one of the best offensive teams to one of the worst in 3 seasons with largely the same core lineup. So sad

Meanwhile Teoscar Hernandez is having a great month, and we traded him for a RP who’s not even good enough to roster anymore

a measly 4 hits. can't mustard any runs against good pitching. only delaying the inevitable. this team is flawed in so many ways. just blow it up and get it over with ffs!

Not really. Let some of our best hitters go. When you lose lineup depth everyone suffers.

I think they said in the post game show that the Jays scored 1 or 0 runs in 15 games this season. That's nuts.
Why did they bring in Don Mattingly then? What has he done?
Fire them all!

If Kikuchi can get command (or either pitcher) they can take advantage of this ump with a huge outside strike zone.

Both corners were back… I would’ve had KK bunting for base hit there. Did anybody think he was finding the outfield grass?
