This is going to be a tough series - Sox have been on a ROLL recently.

Still, as long as our offense shows up, this is a winnable one - and if we can take two of the three, we're (somehow) back to 500!

Will be a challenge for our catchers, Sox love to run. And pitchers might have to work a little harder at holding runners.

Literally the only saving grace to this season from an entertainment standpoint is seeing the prospects play, and the Jays want to even take that away. Wake me up on August 1 when the team is out of it and maybe we can watch some fun baseball again.

Springer and Turner both still getting at bats in late June. Sorry the "it's early" train left the station in mid May these guys are just bad now. Especially against righties.

O's fans crying about Vlad over Mountcastle when he has higher WRC+ and fWAR lol Vlad has been a tad underwhelming (power wise especially) but he's still the best 1B in the AL right now.

I fully expected at least Horwitz to be in the lineup over Turner with the Righty on the mound for Boston. Absolute head scratcher. After his 2 hit game yesterday, I thought Barger would be in the lineup also.

If not Springer on the bench, you could have also had Kiermaier on the bench, with Varsho in CF, Davis Schneider in LF, and Barger in the infield. I guess Kiermaier's .195 BA, and .551 OPS was too good to pass up, along with Springer's equally horrendous .196 BA, and .551 OPS. This organization continuing its pattern of puzzling lineups.

Not in terms of what they are showing right now, more your general take on them and why you think they are struggling, if you had to trade one, who do you have more confidence will return to their prior form, Vlad or Bo?

Vlad is a tweak away from being great again. Bo I have less confidence in and long term I doubt he accepts a move to 2nd base. We probably end up keeping both and hoping for the best tbh. Probably not mega deals but 4-5 years for sure.

I’m asking because I’m back and forth. To your point I agree Vlad looks closer to clicking atm, considerably so. Otoh with Bo his production pre and post knee are so stark that it seems something more logically correctable in time. Especially with his complicated swing mechanics. But I was just thinking of offense, and yeah I agree he’s not really a ss but unlikely to be happy with a move, so that’s a good point.

Red Sox have hit 2 deep bombs tonight. Haven't seen any of that from Jays this season or last

I guess the mighty quest to reach .500 will likely have to wait again for this team.
