Blue Jays (35-39) vs Guardians (46-26)
This organization is such a disgrace..
I don't remember a Blue Jays team and FO being so bad and being so unpopular.

down 7-1 and it's not even the 4th inning. Yikes..
this is going to be a blowout folks! Go do something better with your time instead of watching this garbage.

Everytime they have found something that works, they go in the exact opposite direction like clockwork, especially offensively. What is that ?
Why do they do that ?

Did I miss this awful team finding something that works this season

Its not just this season.10 runs 7 runs in 2 different games this season, and then do something that doesn,t come close to resembling what had just worked,or sitting a guy that had key hits in scoring those runs in those games.

Sitting Ernie after going 11 for 18 with a 1.508 OPS in the last 6 games certainly was a choice. Who needs to win games when you need to pander to your 25 million dollar cry baby?

Springer is completely toast. Why are we wasting at bats? Just eat the contract or park his ass on the bench/minors.

Horwitz has a 151 wRC+, management just literally doesn’t care about trying to win games and the players have surely figured that out by now

Re: Blue Jays (35-39) vs Guardians (46-26)
Just over a year ago Harold Reynolds was concerned, and alarmed about the Jays going away from what was working so he did a segment on MLB Network to encourage them to stick with what was working, and they could still pull HR,s if they did this, but they wouldn,t pull off the ball like they had been at the time.
One of his quotes in this segment was "They went away from it",and he said it in as non critical way as a person can.
https://www.mlb.com/video/blue-jays-score-20-runs-vs-rays
Teams dont go away from what works. Not teams who want to win.Its not that complicated.WTF is going on here?
Why are we sitting Bisons who are here, and have been raking, and the Bisons HC has been great for a while now.Guillermo could have/should have been replaced by him after last season or before.Imagine Joey Bats being on a team like this, and not speaking out about it.

So glad I ditched Sportsnet. It was the right call not to support this garbage product. This organization should be ashamed of the product they've assembled.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

1 More loss, and JAys can drop to 6th worse in the league but so many teams are bunched at 35-36 win area.

Re: Blue Jays (35-39) vs Guardians (46-26)
So glad cyrus' silver lining to fo not playing the young talent is that we get a higher draft pick. It is a unique perspective I will give it that.
Not saying the draft should not be considered, but sorry, stalling playing time for multiple rookies in a name of a high draft pick is costly to improving the current team and also goes against Atkins comments about calling up rookies only if they have adequate playing time. Plus, before the boston series there was hope and not a complete need to tank. But JS completely dashed it by resting Clement, Horwitz and Barger on multiple occasions. Clement has not been played for 3 straight games despite his hot streak. This can't be justified for tanking. It's wrong that someone is succeeding and is punished for his success.
Also, I know that the more I've seen of Springer, Turner and KK, the league soon will be clamoring for their availability. After all, playing washed up vets more will increase their market value because it gives the league more time to see how washed up they actually are. It is possible they improve but that is a leap.
Good news is because JS says Springer is nearly hot, it shouldn't be long now when trade partners will line up. Of course, when Springer gets hot, we'll have to stop playing him so we can keep tanking. In this case, Cyrus will have to choose between tanking for a high pick or playing an elite Springer to increase his market value.

To have your veterans scuffling like this, and yet playing regularly, this team needs a change somewhere. At the very least the hitting coaches and manager should be fired immediately.

Hey, if anyone knows, it’s said often that Rogers doesn’t even like baseball. Where did people get that? Not doubting it, just was telling someone else and they asked and I realized I had no idea of how this is known.

No clue what that even means. They’re spending almost 230M on this disgraceful roster, we really can’t have any complaints about ownership even longer.

Man I put the game on last night as background noise before the Stanley Cup game and I didn't realized I sat through almost an hour of the blue jays trying to get through a half inning

Not a fan of this recent mlb trend where prrospects are called up and cant get consistent abs. Martinez isn't improving sitting there.
