Jays finally gave up on Nate, hope he figures it out, could be nasty closer if he puts it all together

No surprise Garcia was traded, too useful for a playoff team. Pearson just couldn't put it all together. Kikuchi is probably next.
Pearson's delivery just seemed awkward and he never grasped that often less is more.

Of the starting pitchers, we should also try to trade Gausman. He is likely declining soon

Likely, he's already declining and has alot milage on his arm.
Never understood why jays aren't looking to move gausman and Chris bassist. These guys are likely aren't going to get better just due to age.
I get they need someone to pitch next year, but prob as well they think with a tweak or two they can compete next year.

beating him in all offensive stats and has like 5 years of control. Kirk even being a scrub this year, is going to start to getting paid as he goes into his arb years.
Gabby definitely has out played kirk these past two years.

If Moreno is a fraud, what is Fat Kirk (LOL)? Moreno with a much higher BA, SLG, OBP, OPS and WAR numbers up to this point than Fat Kirk. Kirk has two years left at higher Arbitration numbers, while Moreno has 5 years of control left.
Let's see how the "Top 5 Catcher Kirk performs now" getting regular catching duties here on out. He will still have his load managing days, because his 5 foot 7.5 inch, 260-270 pound body cannot catch regularly and he needs his rest. Hopefully, the Jays can bring back Jansen in the off-season if possible.

I can't get excited about a guy hitting .216 in his minor league career, premium defensive position or not. Atkins really loves guys that can't hit, and hitting coaches that can't coach.
