Toronto Blue Jays(50-59) at New York Yankees(65-45)

General manager Ross Atkins, who took over after the 2015 season, was a particular source of frustration for Stroman, per Longley:

"I've made the All-Star Game. I had a Gold Glove. I threw back-to-back [seasons] of 200 innings and I never heard a word from any of those guys [in the front office]. ... There was nothing offered ever from their perspective. If they do say that, it's a complete lie. I'm not going to beat around that. I've been waiting to take some type of deal since I've been there. I've been offered nothing."

Stroman was also critical of Atkins' post-trade deadline comments about Toronto turning "14 years of control into 42 years of control."

"I don't think [we as players] are about saving wins for four or five years from now," Stroman said, per Longley. "I don't think fans like that either."

Stroman always take it personal when he see's this team.

Is there any reason Eric Smith has been calling a bunch of the games on the radio?

Dan Shulman is at the Olympics and nepotism* is at play while his son Ben is drafted from the radio to the TV booth so Eric is on the radio calls

Great game by the Jays. Ran into too many outs, but we got done what we needed.

Empty seats behind home plate in NY with a good team. Why don't they give these tickets away to charity or something?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

One would think that Schneider would eventually learn to not pull pitchers when they're doing well.

One would be wrong.

Schneider is either following or a true dumbass.
Either way he sucks, and is not wanted.
Fans should not tolerate this abuse of a franchise.

This entire coaching staff and front office need to be replaced. The fans have had enough. I'm not sticking around for another rebuild with the same staff and FO, especially after 10 years of no playoff success.

As an example of this joke front office- it took the Dodgers 28 Games to figure out that Cavan Biggio was trash, and they had him DFA yesterday. This same front office thought he could be a solid player for 4 years too long, and paid him over 4 million this year.

The same organization that had Tapia getting a ridiculous 411 AT Bats in 2022 (including his laughable outfield defense in the 2022 Wild Card Debacle), and he is out of the league. Who forgets the great 5 Tool Talent that Atkins loved in Derek Fisher, who is out of the league.

This front office had 9 years, and their behinds would be canned in any other American city. 9 years with 0 playoff wins. There should not be a 10. Get rid of the Three Stooges- Atkins, Shapiro, and Schneider. Their time needs to be over. Hand the keys to James Click, and let him do a rebuild. I am willing to be patient for 2-3 years. It would be a lot better to see a true rebuild, than watching this garbage offense most of the year and last year.

That wasn't his call. The nerds have a number of pitches Rodriguez can throw and theres an inning limit for him.
