I was looking at last season where a bunch of game threads were made late, not made at all, or just reached a couple pages. In order to avoid that and recognizing that we have a smaller group here, I was thinking we make a monthly game thread. This would allow one thread for the month to build up and generate conversations. And we would have a place for someone to make a post or two to share their thoughts without having to worry about there being a current game thread or not. I really liked the conversations we were able to generate in the off-season thread where everything was in one place.

Just an idea that we can try if people are agreed to it.

I'd say start the seasonwith series game threads. There will be interest enough to start Those early season game threads often started late, but generated interest.

But once the likely decline occurs, switch over to your suggestion

Agree. Series threads are the way to go

Sounds good. We'll start the season off creating Series Threads like we've always done. If traffic is dying down and the series threads aren't getting enough engagement, we will switch to monthly game threads.
