Braves have been struggling to start the season. Hoping we can take two of three at home.

Is Guerrero gonna hit his first home run of the season? What is he on pace for this year like 15? Lmao.

He’s technically on pace for 0 right now. Can’t extrapolate forward if you don’t have a number to do it with.

Taking advantage of good teams having down periods is the way. Jays have been rough but, except for the Mets, nobody has really capitalised on it yet.

Guerrero had 3 home runs at this point last season… he turned his season around with an elite June and July… that being said, we need him to win games now. He’s had opportunities to be a factor in a lot of the games we’ve lost, and he’s actually been a part of the reason we lost those games for one reason or another.

Aside from the lack of power, Vladdy has been pretty decent. His numbers are significantly better than April/May compared to last year

He just needs to start homering now (that goes for the entire offense)

This guy was mashing fastballs a few years ago. Every time he faces a fastball now he looks awkward, late, and he’s slicing the ball… again it’s more of a concern of his approach and why he’s struggling to get balls in the air.

Yea, I'm just not seeing the Vlad swing with effortless power that I saw in the past. He's always had an issue with launch angles and a lot of his hard-hit balls going for ground balls, but even then he was able to get enough line drives to get out of the park because they were hit so hard. Nowadays, it just feels like he's way too focused on getting on top of the ball and just making contact. He's still a good hitter just hitting singles and getting on base, but we simply don't have the luxury in this lineup to not need Vlad to be a power hitter and have like 30-35 homers in order to have a chance to compete against the top teams.

I would say he needs to hit 40-45 with 120-130 RBIs to justify that contract and help us win.

No Ozuna in this series either. Gotta take advantage.

Yep, the second he put pen to paper on that contract all the leeway and sympathy for him went away. He's supposed to be the run producer in this lineup and the offensive anchor. He didnt get $500 million to be a slap singles hitter as all his sycophants who are defending his performance on twitter seem to think. I dont care if hes hittng .500 if all hes providing is singles. The absolute BARE MINIMUM for him every year going forward now is 30 HR 100 RBIs.

Lmao! Knew the second Dan mentioned Atlanta's "struggling lineup" that we would get shelled. Apparently every team can hit homeruns in our stadium except the Blue Jays.

Good god, that lineup after Bo, Vladdy and Tony looks like a AAA rejects list.

See like that feels like that would’ve been a homer in years past. Hanging curveball how did he not just pummel it out of the park?

He’s been doing it a lot it seems. I’m not sure why he’s not clobbering these hangers. He’s gotten a handful this season already and missed all of them.

This team excels at hitting warning track bombs.
