Blue Jays vs. Mariners, April 18-20

Post#1 » by JaysRule15 » Fri Apr 18, 2025 3:13 pm

Mariners got decent pitching so not expecting a whole lot of runs being scored this series.

Also so stupid putting this game on Apple TV after an off-day.

Guerrero continues to be late on fastballs… wheelhouse pitch, late again doesn’t barrel it properly

It feels good when it’s the other team running into outs on the basepaths

Bargers arm is the real deal

Bowden has been getting hit hard all game long. They're pushing their luck letting him face the top of the order for the 3rd time.

Bowden has had a interesting season, his savant page basically has his underlying metrics below average across the board. Yet he has a 3.13 ERA this year, not sure if it's gonna hold up honestly but I'll take it. He has gotten ridiculously lucky tn with Barger stealing 3 outs lol

When I suggested pulling Bowden, I didn't mean putting Fluharty in. We literally have 5 better RPs than him, maybe more.

He's looked better than that this year. They were all over his FB all game.
