Blue Jays (16-18) at Angels (13-20) May 6-8

This is a test. These are three winnable games against a team that is on the rocks. If we sweep, we're back above 500. If we lose this series, there will be angry mobs at Front Office.

What will it be, brooms or pitchforks? We're going to find out - probably in the morning because it's the West Coast and a School Night.
**************************

Probable Pitchers.

May 6 - 9:38pm

Jose Urena (0-0, 15.00 ERA, 3 SO)

vs

Tyler Anderson (2-0, 2.67 ERA, 27 SO)

May 7 - 9:38pm

Jose Berrios (1-1, 3.98 ERA, 36 SO)
Image

vs

Yusei Kikuchi (0-4, 4.21 ERA, 33 SO)
Image

May 8 - 9:38pm

Chris Bassitt (2-2, 2.95 ERA, 43 SO)
Image

vs

Jose Soriano (2-4, 3.83 ERA, 31 SO)

**********************

We've got a Jose on the mound every game, and get to watch Yusei pitch - I wonder if they'll play Lisa Loeb when he gets some Ks?

Does anyone remember that time the Jays traded Teoscar for Erik Swanson and Adam Macko?

Who can forget Atkins in Spring Training 2023 mentioning how Varsho will replace the offensive production of Teoscar (LOL). How did that turn out the past two seasons?

Santander has been God awful... Another brilliant signing by Atkins!

End this nightmare, please. A bunch of clowns are running this organization who are clueless.

Springer has been a pleasant surprise so far. Arguably our best hitter so far. Hopefully, he stays healthy.

Can’t even hold onto a lead for one inning

What has happened to Bo's swing decisions? He's swinging at things that he just has absolutely no chance at at all.

He's always been pretty free-swinging, but he was at least making contact before.

Bo has always made horrific swing decisions. One of the worst plate approaches in baseball. The difference now is he’s making less hard contact/contact in general on those bad pitches. Good luck to the team that has him next year because I can guarantee the Jays will want no part of him.

Not confident with Dillon Tate. Should've let Fluharty continue. Hope I'm wrong.

You’re not wrong, that decision to pull Fluharty mid-inning made no sense regardless of the outcome. It especially makes no sense if they’re down Yimi today.

We need Sandlin back. Having to go with Dillon Tate next is absurd. I guess they must really feel Garcia needs a long break.

Any chance Swanson is back within a month... (who knows if he will be competent)

Swanson had more pain in his arm last week, he’s not gonna be rostered any time soon (if ever). Another bad contract there and they’re not even paying him anything.

At least you didn’t watch the college basketball game that broke out in Minnesota tonight. Disgusting stuff.
