No Vlad in the lineup again. Time to IL him already so we can play with a full bench for these games.

No one ever accused the player of having any fortitude or grit. His determination has always been most apparent when dumping gatorade or throwing sunflower seeds.

One of his skills apart from those qualities is that he actually has been a remarkably durable player in his career, but hamstring injuries are injuries you don't want to risk aggravating. They should IL him already.

The other thing about hamstring "inflammation" is that you can stand on first base or swing a bat.

Are you going to pinch run him after he gets on base for the first time in the game?

Very few games over the course of a 162-game season to get legitimately excited about aside from late-season matchups with playoff implications, but this is certainly one of them. Hoping for a good first game back from Bieber to get us on track again.

I guess I need to be more explicit for those who think "fortitude" and "grit" simply means cashing your cheque.

I believe Vlad could run for himself.

Vlad needs to stop doing those Splits at first base. He should not worry about looking great in the highlight reels, but focus on staying healthy going forward. Just Iast month when I went to the Rogers Centre to catch the Yankees game, I had mentioned to my cousin that Vlad needs to be careful doing these Splits at first base, since it might cause a hamstring injury in the future.

He is not a tiny gymnast but a 250 pound man. Low and behold a month later, he is injured after doing the splits. He is lucky it was not a serious injury, or he could have been gone indefinitely. Stop being a gymnast to look good on the highlight reels. It is not worth it in the long run when you are paying this guy 500 million.

Hey man. Obviously I’m calling out Guerrero’s compete level. But I think based on history it’s warranted. You might disagree. You might think it’s too harsh. But it’s not a  take.

I’m also not sure what it has to do with any other position on the diamond?

As Mehar said, Vladdyis a bit of a prima donna. He’s very interested in posing for the camera. Whether that be shenanigans after the game or unnecessarily dramatizing a catch at first base. He can tone that down. He can also be tougher. Mentally and physically. Change my mind.

Tough series Miami has been one of the best teams in the league playing championship contending baseball. Time to lock in

So after Siddal calls out the Canadian catcher Hicks, he backs tracks furiously and blames all the position players for the pitch. Lol. Whoops? Talk about wilting commentary.
