If the Jays win the next four to close out the regular season, I will know for certain that the MLB isn't fixed against them. It would be a most impressive feat!

We're lucky if we win 1 in this series.

Yankees might not win all 3, but they'll probably still pass us.

With the Dodgers clinching the division and the NL 1 and 2 seeds being out of reach, they'll probably rest everyone of value during the Mariners series, so Seattle will pass us too.

Baltimore should take at least 1 against the Yankees so we’ll probably have to win 2 against Tampa to clinch the division.

Anyone who knows this team's history over the last two decades against the Rays knows that winning this series is likely an insurmountable task.

Every Ray is a Jays killer. That jersey gives them power.

Betting markets still have the Jays as about a 57-58% favourite to win the division.

It's a little high in my mind, but our odds are certainly over 30% in my view. Yes, there are negatives at play here, but we have a few positives going our way - we have our top of our rotation going this weekend, the Yanks have the bottom of the rotation going this weekend and the Yanks face Trever Rogers.

Tonight is a crucial night as its the best opportunity of the 3 days to make gains. There is a decent chance we could knock off 2 of the magic number tonight (not over 50% to be clear for you negative twits). It could also go bad of course
- We have starter #1/2 going tonight.
- Yanks have their #4/$ going against Rogers.
- We have some offensive momentum to build off (that could be lost quickly with a poor outing tonight)
- For both Tampa and Baltimore game 1 win would boost them the rest of the series, or a loss could just sink their spoiler motivations,

I have Jays going 3-0 or 2-1 at worst and Yankees sweeping the O's or also going 2-1. What I think really happens? Both teams sweep, and Bluejays win Al east on their own terms.
If your the best team in AL for most of the season you should be able to take care of the Tropicana Lays.. GO JAYS

Tampa just activated this afternoon one of their two best hitters (Aranda) just for this series after he had been out for two months.

They despise the Jays far more and will do anything to see them suffer.

Yandy Diaz in the lineup as well after being pulled from the game for injury yesterday. They despise us.
