Feeling awesome...very tense with bases loaded and no outs, then scoring on a walk. Could have gotten ugly, but Schneider pulled all the right strings. Nice to see springer and clement didn't have to contribute much, so due up tmrw..satander hopefully, as well...rest is gravy..nice work by bullpen, as they were the biggest concern for many. They bailed us out today..Lots of runs, including the 4 game sweep. All 5 without bo

Time to play Blue Jays baseball and work Fried tomorrow. If we can grind out some ABs and get that pitch count up, I think we have a good shot.

Blows my mind that we started the season off with a rotation packed with veterans and added Bieber as well, yet it's gonna be a rookie making his 4th ever major league start in game 2 of the biggest series we've played in a decade. Baseball can be crazy lol.

Hopefully Yesavage can at least go 4-5 innings, I imagine his leash won't be long.

I'm just happy we finally developed a starter (at least, he's looked promising so far). I know we developed Manoah too, but he got the yips after 1.5 seasons.

I don't even think it was just the yips with Manoah. His only elite pitch was the slider. His fastball was always average at best and the velo was below what you would expect from a big guy like him. He never developed a decent third pitch. The control was always subpar too. The pitch clock also really messed him up. He was really used to pitching slow and then had to speed it up, which messed up his delivery.

Hopefully he's able to benefit from a change of scenery and carve out a career. Looking at a guy like Gausman. Totally washed out with the Orioles and was basically out of the majors before re-inventing himself. Although it's a lot easier for Gasuman to be a two-pitch pitcher when he can hit 97mph on the heater lol.

don't be so greedy now..

I'll be happy if he gives us 4 to 5 innings and then our bullpen can take over.

LET'S GO BLUE JAYS!

I remember Manoah hitting 97mph to strike out Judge in his first game. He was hitting mid 90s when he first came in the majors and then he lost velo every year until the injury. Don't know if he had bad mechanics but it never came back.

Every Yankee fan, channel and pundits expect this one to be a win. They think it's going to be a redo of the last game vs Boston with Early on the mound. Winning this one would be a huge blow to the Yankees. This is where home advantage is huge.
